William Lewis defended this case involving a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 92 in Clay County. Defendant rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a stop light which was occupied by the Plaintiffs Brian and Jerry Narron. No comparative fault was submitted to the jury. Before trial, the Plaintiffs demanded $30,000 for each claim. Prior to trial, State Farm offered $6,000 for the claim of Brian Narron and $5,000 for the claim of Jerry Narron. At trial, Plaintiff Brian Narron requested $88,000 from the jury and Plaintiff Jerry Narron requested $82,000. The trial occurred April 27-29, 2009 in Clay County. The jury found Defendant at fault and awarded Brian Narron $5,000 and Jerry Narron $2,000, obviously much less than the Plaintiffs’ demand and even less than what State Farm offered.
